Bavaria Self Guided Motorcycle Tour

Where you choose the date and set the pace
Start / Finish in UK

Tour Information

Bavaria is an unspoiled region of mountains, meadows and forests. This is a magnificent biking country with stunning scenery and biker friendly hotels.

Whether you like riding through the open country side and peaceful alpine villages or visiting baroque castles and medieval towns this is a tour for you. However you will never be far away from scenic mountain roads and passes.

Your four star hotel is conveniently located in the town center in Bavaria. It is close to many traditional bars, cafes and restaurants. Here you still find typical Bavarian traditions in their original form.

The hotel is built and decorated in classic baroque style. It has rooms with en-suite facilities and safe parking. In addition it has a swimming pool and sauna. As well as a bar and excellent restaurant.

Day excursions may include a visit to Germany’s highest peak Zugspitze. You can reach it by taking a mountain train and a short ride on cable car.

From here you can also take a ride to Fussen. While here you can visit the castles of Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein. You may also opt for a shorter ride to visit the Linderhof castle. King Ludvig II and his father built all three castles.

One of the free days can also be used to go on a circular ride that will take you over the Fernpass and deep into the Austrian Alps. On your way you’ll be passing through traditional alpine villages and small market towns. You can stop for lunch at one of many lakeside restaurants. You will make your way back to Germany via a private road that follows a spectacular white water river.

Finally when you start thinking it is all over. Then you will still have two days of riding before you return back to the UK.

This is a splendid tour of relaxed discovery. It offers rewarding mountain rides and  beautiful landscapes. You will also experience the very best of the alpine hospitality.
