Tour Information

Whether you like riding through the open country side and peaceful alpine villages or visiting baroque castles and medieval towns this is a tour for you. However you will never be far away from scenic mountain roads and passes.

This part of Germany is perhaps better known for its delicious cuisine and beer. It is not regarded as a popular motorcycling destination. However this impression quickly changes as soon as you arrive there.

According to many of our clients Bavaria comes as a real surprise. It is amazingly beautiful. Even more than other better known Alpine regions. Also everywhere you go is incredibly clean and tidy. With the locals having obvious pride in their culture and heritage.

Your tour starts with a ride across Europe. It includes two overnight stops. First stop is in Luxembourg.  The second one is in the Black Forest.

On the third day you will arrive to your destination in lower Bavaria. Here you will base your self in a four star hotel. It is also conveniently located close to the main tourist attractions and rides.

Here you are presented with a panorama view of the Alps. You can also catch a glimpse of the famous fairy tale Neuschwanstein castle. It is also known as the Disney castle. The hotel has underground garage, its own gourmet restaurant and of course beer garden.

The center of the historic city of Fussen, often called the romantic soul of Bavaria. It is only a short walk away from the hotel. It has many historic buildings and tourist attractions. The old city also has many bars, traditional restaurants and eateries. Here you can sample variety or traditional Bavarian food and dishes.

Your suggested riding routes include some of the most scenic roads. It also includes some challenging mountain passes. On your days off we suggest you study those routes. And while you are enjoying your traditional breakfast pick which way you fancy riding.

While here you can visit the castles of Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein. You may also opt for a shorter ride to visit the Linderhof castle. All three castles were build by the King Ludvig and his father.

A tour in eastern direction will take you to the German alpine roads. It is definitely a worthwhile excursion. This way you will also have a chance to pick up a section of the Romantic Road. Pass through the famous winter ski center of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Visit Ettal with its Franciscan monastery and brewery. The picturesque town of Oberammergau is where the well known Passion Play is held. It is also a nice lunch stop.

Ride south and you are quickly in Austria. Here you  can ride the awesome mountain passes. These include the famous  Arlbergpass, Fernpass, Timmelsjoch and Silvretta High Alpine Pass. Also the lesser known ones Kniepass, Hantenjoch, Gaichtpass and Riedbergpass.

Whichever way you decided to go in Bavaria you can not go wrong. This is a splendid tour of relaxed discovery. It offers rewarding mountain rides and  beautiful landscapes. You will also experience the very best of the alpine hospitality.
