The area surrounding Lake Achensee is inspiring region to visit and ride your motorcycle. Motorcyclists over the years have marvelled the Tyrolean mountain roads and passes.  They snake through small villages and medieval towns. You will also ride through flower filled meadows and dark green pine forests as well as high pastures.

After two overnight stopovers you arrive to your destination via the scenic Arlberg Pass. First of many Alpine roads included into this tour.

Here you will base your selves for next three nights in a comfortable four star hotel. It has great leisure and relaxation facilities as well as safe parking and it’s own fantastic restaurant.

Your hotel is situated on the Lake Achensee shores. In addition it is a convenient starting point to explore this magnificent region.

From here the ride out options are endless. These include the Gerlos Alpine road. This is a panoramic mountain road that passes next to the Krimml waterfalls. It is a good place to stop for lunch and admire the view of the waterfall.

One of the day rides will take you along fantastic valley roads into Bavaria. The ride follows a white water river and the crystal clear lake. However before you return to the hotel you can stop for lunch at one of many restaurants by the lake. If you like goulash soup, dumplings, schnitzel and apple strudel as well as pancakes these are the places to eat.

Another day trip can include a visit to the world famous Swarovski Crystal factory. It is renowned for it’s fine cut decorative glass and jewellery.

While here you can also visit Innsbruck. Explore the narrow cobbled streets and admire the attractive baroque  facades. The most famous tourist attractions are the Gothic style medieval corner house and the 14th century city tower. In addition make sure you also visit the famous Golden Roof.

To round off your tour you can visit the medieval hilltop town of Hall im Tyrol. It has many narrow alleys full of picturesque sites, traditional facades as well as a unique atmosphere that will remind you of the ancient times.

After a day of riding and enjoying panoramic views you will return to your comfortable hotel. Here you can indulge your self with a gourmet evening meal. It does not get better then this.
