Tuscany Guided Motorcycle Tour

Tour Information

The Tuscany guided tour has a real sense of holiday. It includes great biking roads. It also includes panoramic views and genuine Tuscan hospitality. Furthermore there is a great opportunity to taste regional gastronomy. And perhaps some of the finest Italian wines.

We will visit famous historic cities and tourist attractions. These include Pisa, Siena, Florence and Lucca.  And of course the Ducati or Ferrari factory.

This tour is planned in the usual RideWithUs manner. With comfortable daily mileages, nice hotels and all breakfasts as well as evening meals included.

As usual we shall depart from Folkestone. Our first overnight stop is in a good quality three star hotel in French Ardennes.

The following morning we’ll continue our journey. Our ride heads to the Black Forest in Germany. Our host is also a master chef. He will serve us well deserved traditional evening meals.

The following day we will ride on through Black Forest and Austria into Italy. Here we stay in a comfortable four star hotel.

The next morning we’ll continue our journey towards Tuscany. For the next three nights we stay in the delightful thermal spa town.

Our hotel is located in tranquil parkland. It is only a short walk from the town center. Its elegant four star Villa style design will set the tone for the holiday. It has a swimming pool as well as leisure facilities. It also has a private car park and it’s own restaurant.

Whilst here we’ll have a perfect opportunity to explore the area. We will take a ride around the Chianti region to visit some of Tuscany’s most famous tourist sites. These include Luca the birthplace of Pinocchio as well as Florence the city of art. Short stop in Pisa to see its famous leaning tower. The romantic city of Siena and the medieval hilltop town of San Gimignano are also great options. And finally of course visits the world famous Ducati or Ferrari factory.

Also, not to be forgotten. Furthermore there is an organized day trip to the traditional Tuscan farmhouse. Here we’ll have a guided tour of olive groves and olive oil production presentation. To finish the day we’ll have olive oil tasting followed by authentic Tuscan lunch.

In this land of great food tradition. Here we’ll have an opportunity to taste the dishes made of real Tuscan mountain ingredients. These include wild boar as well as home made pasta and salami. In addition they also include wild mushrooms, chestnuts as well as truffles. And of course the local olive oil.

From here the journey takes us back to Lake Garda. Here we stay in a family run hotel. It has a lovely indoor swimming pool and a restaurant with plenty of character.

We continue travelling North. Our route includes some great roads through Switzerland. The hotel is situated on the German side of Lake Constance. From here we cross into France.

We’ll ride some traffic free roads to our next stop in Alsace. The final overnight stop is in the Walloon region of Belgium. Our accommodation is a fours star hotel with a restaurant that serves local specialties.

This year we are departing from our usual afternoon Eurotunnel crossing times. Instead we are booking the crossings for early midday. Our last night hotel is about 100 miles from Calais. This gives us the opportunity to ride home on the same day.
