Italian Dolomites Guided Motorcycle Tour

Tour Information

The Italian Dolomites guided tour is a dream motorcycle holiday. It includes thrilling rides through dramatic mountain scenery. For many years it has been our most popular holiday.

The Dolomites are the most beautiful part of the Italian Alps. This is a region of crystal clear lakes and vast forests and alpine pastures. But above all the spectacular mountain passes.

The Dolomites motorcycle holiday is our oldest tour. However, now it also includes new hotels and routes. Therefore it will be a new experience even for those who traveled with us before.

We shall start our motorcycle holiday with a morning crossing to Calais. Our first overnight stop will be in a three star hotel in Belgium.

We will spend our second night in a delightful four star hotel in Alsace.

The following day we shall continue to ride to the Black Forest. Our route will include the famous B500 as well as other perfect biking roads in Germany.

In Bavaria we shall spend a night in a four star biker friendly hotel. Our host will provide us with comfortable rooms and leisure facilities. While his chef will treat us with a traditional four course supper.

We shall ride over the famous Timmelsjoch Pass the following day. This is also a must do pass on every biker’s list. The restaurant at the top of the pass offers a convenient lunch spot. Also time permitting we might opt to visit the highest motorcycle museum in Europe.

In the Dolomites we shall be based in another comfortable biker friendly hotel. The hotel is situated in a small Alpine village. The fir trees and snow covered peaks surround the village.

From here we shall explore the region.  We shall visit the most glamorous Italian ski resorts. These include Cortina d’Ampezzo and Arabba.

While here we shall ride the most spectacular mountain passes in the Italian Alps. Including the famous Sella Ronda and the legendary Stelvio pass.

Popular day trip option is the visit to the highest museum in the Alps. Marmolada is often referred to as ‘The front line of the Dolomites’. Furthermore this is testimonial to the soldiers who fought in the First Great War.

The museum is located on the highest peak in the Dolomites. In fact it can only be reached with a cable car. This is where the troops fought countless battles. There are still remains of shelters and trenches among its peaks. The visits to the front line military positions are possible during the summer.

On our return leg of this tour we shall ride across Europe again. Our route will take us through more amazing scenery in Switzerland, the Black Forest and Luxembourg. What a great way to finish this tour!
