If you still have not been to the French Alps on your motorcycle then this might be your year.
This tour is easily done in seven days, however, it can be extended by as many days as you wish.
This tour has certain note of nostalgia to it as it partially traces the famous historic car race - The Route des Grandes Alpes.
Our well researched routes will present you with the opportunity to ride some of the most contrasting French scenery from small country roads alongside miles and miles of endless fields, rolling hills to some of the most challenging mountain passes and of course brilliant N85 - Route Napoléon.
Your route pack includes some of the best know mountain passes such as Col du Glandon, Col de Vars, Col de L’Iseran, Col du Galibier and Col de la Madeleine, and Col du Noyer.
In Annecy you’ll have a chance take a stroll around medieval quarters along it’s narrow cobbled streets and sample some of the French traditional delicacies offered by town’s many fantastic eateries.
Your next stop is a charming family run hotel with it’s own lake (well stocked with trout) that enjoys a quite
valley location.
A perfect place to have a rest day and enjoy the tranquil Alpine scenery.
From here you’ll move to Bourg St Maurice to an other family run hotel where free time can be used to take a short funicular ride to the nearby ski resort of Les Arcs, ride local mountain passes and have a spot of lunch at lake Cenis.
All the hotels on this tour are quality three star with en-suite facilities, safe parking some underground garaging, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, bars and their own excellent restaurants (one of which is a Micelin Star winner).
