Self-Guided Tour 3 - Austrian Tyrol Motorcycle Tour
Depart and return when it suits you

Fantastic opportunity to ride some of the best alpine mountain passes.
After a short channel crossing you ride towards your first overnight stop in rural France where you’ll stay in a three star hotel with secure parking, swimming pool and its own excellent restaurant.
On your way to the Tyrol you’ll visit the magnificent waterfalls on the river Rhein and ride along the Swiss side of Lake Konstanz.
Next you cross into Austria where you’ll stay in a four star hotel (with bike-garaging) which is run by a husband and wife team who are also keen bikers themselves.
All rooms are en-suite and you’ll enjoy your hearty buffet breakfast and fantastic four course evening meal in a restaurant that is decorated in a traditional Tyrolean style.
Every afternoon there is also complimentary tea, coffee and cake in the hotel’s guest lounge served just at the right time as you return from your day trips.
From here you’ll have the opportunity to ride into Switzerland, or even Italy if you fancy it. The day excursions may include rides to the Arlberg Pass, Silveretta Pass, Stelvio Pass, Piller Pass, Ressia Pass and the Weissseespitze Glacier.
Each day trip will be rounded off by a relaxing ride back to the hotel, just in time for a gourmet evening meal. Those who prefer it can park their bike and rest for a day or two and enjoy the hotel’s facilities that include a swimming pool, spa, beauty and massage room and bar.
The secure underground garage contains a bike jet wash and repair facilities if required. The hotel is also an official BMW Roadtesting Centre and for a nominal fee it is possible to hire a brand new BMW motorcycle for the day.
The chalet type hotel is situated overlooking an alpine valley surrounded by a forest, providing you with an ideal location to enjoy the panoramic views over the surrounding mountains and to relax and reflect on the day’s events.
With two further overnight stops, you’ll return to the UK via the Black Forest and the Aube region of France.
While you are in Austria it is possible to arrange a guided ride with the hotel owner.
