Tuscany motorcycle Tour

Tuscany is one of the most attractive European motorcycling destinations.

Tuscany is one of the world’s most fascinating places, attracting lovers of art, nature, food and wine and nowadays us - motorcyclists.

An early morning departure from Folkestone will take you from  France  and  across  Belgium to  Northern  Germany where you’ll board the overnight Motorail to Italy.

The next morning you’ll ride to your base for next seven days, a family run hotel situated at the foothills of the volcano Monte Amiata and surrounded by chestnut and beech forests.

Here your host for seven days Enrico and his team will ensure that you fully experience and enjoy every bit of the Tuscan splendour. In this land of great food tradition you’ll have an  opportunity to taste the dishes made of real Tuscan mountain ingredients such as wild boar, home made pasta, salami, wild mushrooms, chestnuts, truffles, and of course the local olive oil.

All this accompanied with the most important ingredient - Tuscan wine. These are just some of many recommended by our host; Brunello di Montalcino and Nobile di Montepulciano.

Whilst here you’ll explore the area and visit some of Tuscany’s most famous tourist attractions, medieval villages and deep forests. These include visits to Monte Amiata villages, Aldobrandeschi castles, the magnificent abbeys of San Salvatore and San’Antimo and the renaissance towns of Montalcino, Montepulciano, Orvieto and  Pienza. Your visits also extends to the neighbouring Etruscan villages of Sorano e Pitigliano, the dead town of Civita di Bagnoregio and Lake Bolsena. Also, not to be forgotten, one or two traditional wine houses for a spot of wine tasting.

Remaining days off can be used to visit and relax in one of the many hot springs or take a tide to the romantic city of Siena.

An ideal place to indulge yourself in luxury…Tuscan style.
