Tour 4 - Bavaria Tour
10th - 17th June 2012

Motorcycle holiday with spectacular mountain scenery, fascinating heritage, crystal clear lakes, delicious cuisine and fantastic biking roads...
Whether you like passing through the open country side and peaceful alpine villages, visiting baroque castles and medieval towns, riding scenic mountain roads and passes or simply having a spot of lunch or a slice of cake somewhere in the quite town square this motorcycle tour has it all.
Our four star hotel is conveniently located in the centre of the well known ski resort in the Bavarian Alps - Garmisch-Partenkirchen close to many traditional bars, cafes and restaurants. Here, you still find typical Bavarian traditions in their original form.
The hotel is built and decorated in classic Germanic baroque style with en-suite facilities, safe parking, outdoor swimming pool, steam room and sauna, bar and it’s own excellent restaurant.
Day excursions may include a visit to Germany’s highest peak Zugspitze which can be reached by taking a mountain train and a short ride on cable car.
From here we can also take a ride to Fussen to explore the magnificent castles of Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein. Or opt for a shorter ride to visit another spectacular feature of gothic architecture - the Linderhof castle. All three spectacular castles were built by King Ludvig II and his father.
One of the free days can also be used to go on a circular border hopping ride that will take us over the Fernpass and deep into Austrian Alps. On our way we’ll be passing through traditional alpine villages, small mountain market towns and stopping for a spot of lunch at the traditional chalet style restaurant by the glittering waters of the mountain lake. We’ll make our way back to Germany via a private valley road that follows a spectacular white water river.
And when you start thinking it is all over we still have two days of riding through the fabulous Black Forest and Champagne Region before we return back to the UK.
This tour includes spectacular views, delicious German cuisine, comfortable three and four star hotels and of course five star biking roads.
